Antoine, Grant and I headed west looking for snow in January 2005. With more than 6 feet of snow in the 9 days we were at Crested Butte, you might say we got more than we bargained for. These images were all scanned from film negatives.

A brother-sister roadtrip in the West with aspirations of wide desert vistas in the southwest and the summit of Humboldt Peak in Colorado. A record snowpack in the Sangre de Cristos sent us north to the Front Range where we found plenty of mountain fun.
